Taylor Swift barely goes out and about during her tours, but the superstar has been sighted in a very rare outing in Melbourne
Taylor Swift has been spotted boarding her private jet in Melbourne.
It marks the first public sighting of the US singer in Australia, with Swift hardly ever seen out and about between shows in foreign countries.
After playing three concerts to record crowds as part of her global Eras Tour, Swift was photographed getting on her plane at Melbourne airport at midday on Monday.
The 14-time Grammy winner’s flight to Sydney was slightly delayed, taking off 20 minutes later than expected due to a thunderstorm hitting the harbour city.

Swift’s jet, the Bombardier Global 6000, landed in Sydney around 1.24pm, local time.
While it’s not yet known if her boyfriend Travis Kelce is set to join her, Swift, 34, paid tribute to the NFL star by wearing a Kansas City Chiefs ‘champions’ cap for the plane ride.
Embracing the humid weather, Swift also sported a red T-shirt with shorts.
A security team was on hand to escort the pop star, putting up several umbrellas as she walked up the stairs to the aircraft in a bid to obstruct the news helicopter filming her departure.

Swift has several days off in Sydney, where she’ll play four back-to-back concerts at Accor Stadium from Friday.
It’s rumoured she is staying at Crown Sydney, given the hotel company is the official partner of the Eras Tour.
There are also reports Swift has booked out a private mansion with a pool and tennis court in the eastern suburbs.

It comes after the Cruel Summer singer performed three consecutive shows at the MCG, with 96,000 fans attending each night. It marked the biggest crowd attendance in her career.
“Some stadium girl math for you … 96,000 people the first night, 96,000 people the second night. 96,000 people tonight,” Swift said onstage during Sunday’s show.
