This Morning star Lisa Snowdon was on a makeover mission for the hit ITV show, but things almost took a turn for the worse after a mishap occurred.

During Thursday’s episode of This Morning, an amusing mishap occurred while Josie Gibson and Craig Doyle attended to their fashion segment with Lisa Snowdon.

Broadcasting live from a shopping centre in Birmingham, Lisa was tasked with a glam makeover challenge.

Laden with shopping bags and descending an escalator, Lisa quipped about her busy shopping spree saying: “I’m not entirely finished with the shop, I still need to get a few bits like accessories, maybe some shapewear.”

She cheekily added: “But, the clock is ticking so I’ve got to hurry up, I can’t wait for you to see the girls, they’re going to look absolutely stunning!”

However, things took an awkward turn when the camera operator almost intruded on her scene, attempting to navigate off the escalator.

She exclaimed: “Nearly killed the cameraman then!” Accompanied by her own chuckling, she quickly exited the frame.

Back in the studio, presenters Josie and Craig couldn’t contain their amusement over the commotion as Josie empathised with Lisa.

The ITV star confessed: “I’ve done that so many times! I feel you, Lisa, I feel you,” reports the Mirror.

While Craig teased: “You know that is so Snowden, she’s all slick but she’s got a clumsy side to her, it’s really funny.”

The laughter wasn’t a first for the day either, as earlier the presenters had faced their own share of uncomfortable laughs during the show.

In a lead-up to a segment about uncovering hidden gems, it was teased that Dan Hatfield would be going live from an antiques fair.

Craig quipped: “He’s doing what he’s doing if he wasn’t working, it’s basically a day off for you Dan, look at you!”

As the camera switched over to Dan at the fair, the ITV presenter managed a quiet chuckle but didn’t retort to the commentary.

Josie couldn’t help but laugh at the quirky interaction as she found the silence hilarious.

She quickly commented: “Thanks Dan, that was a bit awkward!”

Craig and Josie have fronted the show together over the past few days while regular presenters Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley enjoy their summer break.

However, next week viewers will see Josie alongside Rylan Clark as the ITV programme continues with its presenter shake-up.
