Selena Gomez doesn’t want to go back to her “‘It’ girl era.”
The singer reacted to throwback footage of herself getting snapped by paparazzi and posing with a fan in a TikTok comment Monday.
In the video, which was set to her ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber’s song “Company,” Gomez stunned in a black dress and a matching coat thrown over one shoulder, wearing her hair loose and curled.
“I know and so do you that at the time she would never have gotten engaged to Benny [Blanco], she was in her IT GIRL era,” the caption read.
The text written over the video also posited that the past version of Gomez, 32, “would never date Benny Blanco.
The “Only Murders in the Building” star commented, “Kinda makes me laugh because I was so depressed back then lol.”
Gomez’s clapback comes seven months after she confirmed her romance with Blanco, 36, and defended it from negative fans.
“He has treated me better than any human being on this planet,” she wrote in December 2023.
The actress noted in a May Time magazine interview that her partner is not “fazed” when naysayers comment “the most hurtful things.”
Gomez and the music producer are still going strong, with Blanco recently telling “Howard Stern Show” listeners that starting a family with Gomez is his “next goal.”
As for possibly proposing, the songwriter said, “I take everything a day at a time. I just know that when I look at her, I just say, ‘I don’t know a world where it could be better than this.’”
Prior their relationship, Gomez dated The Weeknd in 2017 and Bieber, 30, on and off for eight years.
Just a few months after she and the “Baby” singer called it quits for good in 2018, he married Hailey Bieber — and the couple are now expecting their first baby.
Hailey, 27, assured “Call Her Daddy” listeners in September 2022 that it was “all love” between herself and Gomez.
However, the duo have continued to spark feud rumors, last making headlines for their cryptic social media behavior in February 2023.
Gomez has yet to publicly react to Hailey’s pregnancy news.
The “Wizards of Waverly Place” alum was active on social media over the weekend, slamming speculation that she has had plastic surgery.
The former Disney Channel star, who confirmed that she does “have Botox,” subsequently showed off her different “faces [and] phases” in an Instagram carousel.
