Sharing an obituary dedicated to her late mother-in-law Kirstie captioned the post: “My Mother in Law, a remarkable woman.”
In a follow-up post, she commented: “My Dad and Gretchen died within 12 days of each other in June, it has been a strange time but we were blessed to have the parents we did and both their lives were so well lived, with work & family at their centre.”
Fans rushed to comment on the post as one person tweeted: “I’m very sorry for your loss.”
Another penned: “I’m sorry to hear that, Kirstie. We have just lost FiL after a long life well lived, it’s sad nevertheless.”

Gretchen was a curator and owned an antique shop in Kensington Church Street, London, with her husband Vivian which they kept for 66 years.
Her shop became a reliable source for objects to star in commercials, photography for food books and period television series and films.
Kirstie has been in a relationship with self-made property tycoon Ben Andersen for the past 20 years and the couple share two sons together.
Gretchen died just 12 days after Kirstie’s dad Charlie Hindlip who died in June.
The TV star shared the sad news on Instagram with a picture of her auctioneer dad Charlie, saying she was “so proud to be his daughter”.
“This is my Dad, Charlie Hindlip, he was a great auctioneer, the best of his generation, an artist, a gardener, a father of four, and grandfather of eight, a loving husband to a wife he lost too soon,” Kirstie wrote.
“I have been so proud to be his daughter all my life, and will be until the day I die. Bless you Dad, we loved you so much.
