EAMONN Holmes’ new girlfriend is so “smitten” with him, that she’s “calling him her soulmate” after just months of dating.

Presenter Eamonn, 64, hit the headlines after being spotted setting off on a luxury cruise with relationship counsellor Katie Alexander, 42.

The former This Morning host, who shocked the nation with his split from Ruth Langsford, also 64, went public with his new romance earlier this month.

Now it’s being reported that his new girlfriend is already referring to Eamonn as her “soulmate’.

A source told Heat magazine: “Katie is telling everyone that she’s totally smitten and in love.

“They’ve known each other for nine years, so this isn’t a fly-by-night relationship – she’s in it for the long haul.

“They’re now looking at places to move in together, as they want a lot more space.”

The insider added that the pair are also reportedly thinking about relocating to the TV star’s native Belfast.

“Eamonn is her man, and she’s there to look after him,” the source added.

Eamonn’s representative has been contacted for comment.

Meanwhile, The TV anchor has been plagued by a series of health setbacks in recent years.

He had a double hip replacement in 2016. Last year, he had back surgery which has left him using a wheelchair.

And in January he broke his shoulder in a fall. Four months later we revealed he had split with Loose Women panellist Ruth.

She has confided to her closest friends that there was “no way back” for the marriage.

Divorcee Katie, a mother of three, struck up a friendship with Eamonn via Twitter back in 2015.

Her counselling specialities include “affairs and betrayals” as well as “separation and divorce”.

She has reportedly left her home in Huddersfield, West Yorks, to drive four and a half hours to Eamonn’s luxury pad in Kingston, South West London, nearly every weekend.

Their romantic cruise is not their first holiday together, despite only confirming their relationship in recent weeks.
