Pop star Katy Perry is working on something new as she made an appearance on a Spanish beach, wearing a scandalous bathing suit complete with a wild side animal print

Katy Perry spent the day in Ibiza working on her latest project.

The pop star made a recent comeback with her song Woman’s World which didn’t quite appeal to fans the right away. Now, she’s giving her craft yet another go as she was seen filming a new music video on the beach. The star donned a a tiny bikini as she appeared carefree and in good spirits, despite the ongoing backlash.

The bathing suit, which barely covered her top, featured a zebra print top and bottom. She also added some sparkling jewelry, including layered necklaces — a choker and a translucent, charmed necklace. Katy added a pair of shimmering dangly earrings.

She ran barefoot through the sandy beach, appearing care free as she spread her arms and wore a glowing smiling on her face. The I Kissed A Girl Singer let her long, black hair down in loose waves, fully embracing the beach-day vibes of the video shoot. Katy traversed the terrain freely, flanked by her video team and took a dip into the water with her actors.

Katy clutched a paddle in one hand, guiding a kayak to shore with the other. However, in other shots, the star was far more covered up, throwing on a crocheted, white dress. The former American Idol host was seen lounging in the sun on a larger boat, enjoying a mixed drink and having watermelon and bananas laid out for her snacking leisure.

The star layered the coverup over her bathing suit and added a boho belt low on her waist. Embracing the sunny day even more, she popped a pair of shades on her head as she walked around set.

On July 24, Katy was seen in Barcelona also filming for a bit. While it’s unclear what her new song or video will directly be about, she did get cozy with one of the actors. She gave an Orlando Bloom look alike a steamy kiss as she, yet again, was stripped down, wearing little to nothing.

The star donned a one piece bodysuit with deep cut outs across her torso and popped on silver undies over the look. Katy accessorized with glimmering, silver leg warmers which sagged over her heels.

It comes after she faced backlash for her recent hit Woman’s World. Fans were already displeased to hear that Katy worked with Dr. Luke after Kesha accused him of sexual assault. Then, once the track and music video came out, fans slammed it for not being the feminist anthem Katy had hope it would be.

One fan wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter: “Katy Perry receiving her lashings is the most pleasing to me because KatyKats deserve it. Making fun of Kesha’s assault as well as poking fun at her low-budget promo. Meanwhile, katy spent millions for promo & was given a critically panned flop. Congratulations.”
