ITV’s This Morning is set to ramp up its health experts in order to try and help curb Britain’s hospital waiting lists.
For the next week, every day, the primetime show will feature specialists in their field to cover the public’s health issues and concerns.
The show will aim to help those people who are already on the excruciatingly long waiting lists, as well as provide general tips and advice to others.
A source told The Mirror: ‘It’s clear that people are still struggling to get appointments, so we are keen to offer as much advice as possible to help while they wait or anyone who has any questions about treatments.
‘With dedicated time allocated and experts here to help each day, it’ll be a lifeline for many.’

The experts said to appear on the show include heart surgeon Steve Westaby and gut expert Dr Saliha Mahmood Ahmed.
It is also thought dermatologist Dr Emma Wedgwood will make an appearance for those who seek help and advice from skin specialists.
Beat The Waitlist week will be presented by Josie Gibson and Craig Doyle as regular hosts Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley take a seven-week break, just four months after landing the job.
The new hosts joined the ITV daytime show on March 11 and are said to be receiving an annual salary of £555,000.
Now they’re set to be away for nearly two months as part of the show’s annual summer break, which sees a rotation of guest presenters brought in to front the show in their absence.
Friday favourites Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary kicked off the summer shows in July.
As well as Josie and Craig, Rylan Clark, Rochelle Humes and Joel Dommett will all take to the sofa.

New mum Sian Welby will also return to broadcasting since welcoming her baby daughter Ruby in June.
According to the British Heart Foundation heart care waiting lists are at a record high, reaching nearly 415,000 at the end of March, which is almost double what it was in 2020.
Ben and Cat return to ITV’s flagship daytime show on September 2, and Alison and Dermot return to fronting Fridays on September 6.
This Morning’s editor, Martin Frizell, said of the summer lineup: ‘Viewers will not want to miss a moment this summer!
‘The shows will be packed and whatever the weather, the team in front of the cameras and behind will deliver plenty of content to keep the nation smiling.
‘I’m delighted Alison and Dermot are kicking things off and together with our brilliant family of hosts – made up of the biggest names in TV – they will be serving up really exciting content on Britain’s biggest daytime show.’
