Rihanna has made it known that she will no longer be serving as CEO of Sаvаge X Fenty, her lingerie line.
“This is just the beginning for us,” she said, adding, “and we’re going to continue to expand in ways that always connect with the consumer.”
With effect from June 26, Rihanna announced that Hillary Suρer, a former CEO of the Anthropologie Group, will assume leadership of the company. The vocalist of “Lift Me Up” expressed her gratitude and excitement at having Hillary Suρer join the company as CEO. “She is a capable leader who is committed to growing the company to new heights.”
Suρer served as the global CEO of Anthropologie Group for four years before to Sаvаge X Fenty. In the past, she has also held executive positions at Old Navy, American Eagle, Guess, and Gap.
“I’m ecstatic to become a part of the Sаvаge X Fenty family,” Suρer stated. “The brand’s steadfast dedication to promoting inclusivity and fearlessness is inspiring. It is a major powerhouse in the lingerie and apparel industry.”
The business leader arrives at a time when the lingerie brand’s popularity and success are growing. The business has recently been attempting to move beyond online sales and into wholesale and physical stores. Seven locations have already opened, including ones in Atlanta, Las Vegas, Houston, and Los Angeles.
Rihanna will keep up her position as the brand’s executive chair, according to Vogue Business.
