World Cup winner Lionel Messi has taken the U.S. by storm, which comes as no surprise. The Argentinian bossed Europe for close to two decades – American soccer was always going to be easier.

Inter Miami has won three games since Messi’s arrival and he’s scored five goals across the trio of fixtures. It would be a surprise if he doesn’t break multiple records in his first season with David Beckham’s team.

Somehow, though, the player’s celebrations are even more interesting than his goals. After helping Miami beat Atlanta United 4-0 last Tuesday, Messi’s wife Antonela Roccuzzo confirmed that his celebration was a nod to Marvel character Thor.

Fans also noticed the attacker performing the Wakanda Forever celebration after scoring in Wednesday’s 3-1 win over Orlando City SC this Wednesday.

This has, of course, led to questions, with folks wondering whether the former Barcelona star is getting paid to break these celebrations out. And social media detectives have since discovered a Marvel-themed football that has just been released by Adidas.

Adidas also sponsors Messi.

The ball is currently available on the Adidas website for $170.

Miami’s next match comes against FC Dallas on Sunday, it will be interesting to see which celebration Messi pulls out if he scores again.
