Iniesta on his immediate future

During a press conference in May, Iniesta was quizzed about his future and was reported by The Mirror to have said:
“I have to tell you the truth, I don’t know.

“I want to keep playing football. I feel like I am capable of still playing. But as this chapter closes, we’ll see what’s possible.
I want to finish my career on the pitch playing, and this is what I’m hoping to do.”
This has been followed by recent reports from sources close to Iniesta. According to Spanish media outlet SPORT, a deal for the veteran midfielder is not on the table as things stand.

Though it appears a matter of time before Inter Miami chiefs send across their offer for the former Barcelona man.

The plan of Vice City co-owners David Beckham and Jorge Mas is to create a dream team at DRV PNK Stadium spearheaded by seven-time Ballon d’Or winner Lionel Messi.

Barcelona honours Iniesta with friendly

Sports Brief previously reported Barcelona honoured Andres Iniesta with a farewell fixture after the midfielder announced he was departing Japanese club, Vissel Kobe.

There were suggestions that Iniesta could play a half for each side, but Sport reports Vissel Kobe are not too keen on the idea and the legend will simply play for the Japanese current side.
