Emmerdale icon Dominic Brunt appeared to land his foot in it on more than one occasion as he made a couple of slip-ups while appearing on Loose Women
Emmerdale actor Dominic Brunt begged the Loose Women panel to move on quickly not long after he experienced an on-air mishap.
The 54-year-old, who is best known for playing Paddy Kirk in the hit ITV soap, appeared on the daytime programme to discuss his latest storyline. This week, Paddy is planning to tie the knot again to his former wife Mandy Dingle (Lisa Riley).
But before Dominic could discuss the Dales in full detail a raunchy topic about women’s pubic hair appeared to crop up again. Ahead of the actor’s appearance, Loose Women stars Kaye Adams, Brenda Edwards, Denise Welch, and Frankie Bridge spoke about whether women should keep their bush.
But when Dominic came onto the show and spoke about needing a wig he unfortunately landed himself in the mayhem of the previous discussion.

Kaye then chimed: “Funny you should say that because Denise…” As the audience roared with laughter, Denise added: “Mandy Dingle’s bush energy!”
Dominic then told the women, he was awkwardly listening in to their previous conversation about bushes backstage. He told the women: “I was stood there thinking please change the subject before I get on.”
Frankie then said: “You’re the one who brought up wigs!”
Not long after, the panel discussed the latest storyline involving Paddy and Mandy’s wedding as well as the Dingle favourite’s secret sex work.
To make extra cash, Mandy is currently involved in the world of financial dominatrix, a practice that involves verbally abusing men for cash.

But Paddy is completely unaware that Mandy is doing this in her spare time. However, Paddy’s dad, Bear, catches Mandy and begs her to come clean or he’ll expose the truth to his son.
Adding more insight into how his character would take the news, Dominic admitted that he wouldn’t actually mind Mandy’s secretive pursuits but while trying to explain, the Emmerdale star made a blunder.
He said: “Yeah, it’s interesting because he’s not bothered about that. He said ‘you could be a laptop.” Brenda giggled and said: “A laptop?”
As the audience roared with laughter once again, Frankie corrected him and said: “You mean a lap dancer!”
Emmerdale star Dominic Brunt found himself in a bit of a sticky situation during his appearance on Loose Women, making not one, but two slip-ups that had the audience in stitches.
The 54-year-old actor, famous for his role as Paddy Kirk on the popular ITV soap, was on the show to talk about his character’s upcoming wedding to Mandy Dingle, played by Lisa Riley.
The interview took an unexpected turn when the topic of women’s pubic hair came up, with the Loose Women panel debating whether or not women should keep their “bush.”
Dominic, trying to steer the conversation in a different direction, jokingly mentioned that he needed a wig because he used to have hair. This unintentionally led to more laughter from the panel and the audience.
Despite the initial awkwardness, Dominic managed to shift the focus back to the upcoming storyline on Emmerdale, where Mandy is secretly working as a financial dominatrix to make extra money.
Paddy is unaware of her side gig, which leads to some comedic moments as he grapples with the truth.
In discussing how Paddy would react to learning about Mandy’s secret job, Dominic accidentally referred to her potential as a “laptop” instead of a lap dancer, much to the amusement of the panel and viewers.
The light-hearted atmosphere continued as the conversation veered from mishaps to the intricacies of the show’s plot.
Through it all, Dominic’s good-natured humor and quick recovery from his slip-ups kept the interview entertaining and enjoyable for all involved.
Fans of Emmerdale will undoubtedly be eagerly awaiting the upcoming wedding and the inevitable hijinks that will follow.
