MILEY Cyrus went back to her racy roots as she posed in a silver playsuit with raunchy over-the-knee boots for new Instagram snaps.

The pop sensation sprawled out on the floor in the very short outfit in backstage shots taken at the Grammys.

Miley grabbed hold of a box as a prop for her impromptu photoshoot.

She captioned the snaps: “Backstage, ‘I’m Still Standing’,” in a nod to her duet with Sir Elton John.

Miley had earlier looked a little more dressed up for her performance with the legendary singer, 70.

The duo sung Elton’s hit Tiny Dancer at the awards which saw Bruno Mars scoop all the top gongs.

Her barely-there outfit was reminiscent of her sexy display at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards.

She hit headlines when she grinded against Robin Thicke in hotpants during a live performance of Blurred Lines.
