Britney Spears has caused concern among her fans after she uploaded a new video of her dancing on Instagram after sources claimed her “conservatorship” should have continued due to fears about her mental health.
The 42-year-old pop princess filmed herself passionately dancing to the Latin hit “Despacito” dressed in a pink bikini and black boots. The video, captured in her living room, shows Britney moving rhythmically, side-stepping, twirling, and enthusiastically mouthing the words of Luis Fonsi’s chart-topping track.
Amidst her dance routine, the star cheekily sticks out her tongue while flashing a smile at the camera, not missing a beat as she carries on with her energetic dance. Accompanying her social media update was an enigmatic caption that said: “HOT PINK READS WELL… CONSIDERING PINKY IS MY REAL NAME ! ! !

“Pss… trying to keep things so professional and classy !!! With the beautiful service here in America I don’t want to throw trash or spit in anyone’s faces !!!” She deactivated comments on the post.
This current video follows recent claims suggesting Britney should have remained under conservatorship. The iconic pop star was placed under this legal agreement back in 2008, which put her father, Jamie Spears, in charge of every facet of her life – from spending habits and personal visitors to even deciding her type of phone.
But Britney was free from her 13-year long conservatorship in 2021. The artist, however, found herself in the midst of another controversy when she left Chateau Marmont hotel in LA barefoot and slightly disheveled after an alleged fight.

The unsettling snaps came as a shock to her fans and sources close to her, expressing concern for the singer’s mental well-being. Speaking to Page Six after the incident, one insider remarked: “I hate to say it, but the way this is all going – this is what we feared.”
Nevertheless, Britney brushed off these concerns asserting she had just twisted her ankle. Undeterred, she took to Instagram on Thursday night to share two videos revealing her swollen ankle.
She blames her mother Lynne for orchestrating this latest drama, writing in the caption: “I know my mom was involved !!! I haven’t talked to her in 6 months and she called right after it happened before the news being out !!! I was set up just like she did way back when !!!” She continued: “I wish I had grandparents !!! I can’t stand her !!! I honestly don’t care I will say it !!!”
While showing off her swollen ankle and foot, which also looked bruised, fans could hear Britney crying while explaining what happened. She told her Instagram followers that she “really twisted her ankle last night like an idiot.”
She claimed that the injury came from trying to do a leap in the living room and she fell. To the singer it was “so bad” and she said she “embarrassed” herself. She also mentioned how the paramedics came and caused a huge scene, “which was so unnecessary” and all she needed was ice.
